How to install a plugin
- Open your Pressy and go to WordPress in the sidebar.
- Open the Plugins tab.
- Press Install a plugin and search the WordPress.org directory by name.
- Press install on the one you want.
- Press Activate on its row.
A plugin is installed switched off. Nothing changes on your site until you activate it, which is deliberate — it gives you a moment to take a backup first if the plugin is a big one.
Where the plugin's own settings are
Most plugins add themselves to the WordPress sidebar, or under Tools or Settings, once activated. Press WordPress Admin on your Pressy's overview to get there in one click.
If installing fails
A plugin that is not in the WordPress.org directory — a paid or private one —
cannot be searched for here. Upload it inside WordPress instead
(Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin), or put the files in
wp-content/plugins over FTP.
