What managed covers
The word means different things at different hosts, so here is exactly what ours means.

- The container, HTTPS and your pressy.site address, from the first minute
- WordPress minor and security auto-updates, switched on when your site is built. Core updates you start from the dashboard use a new or recent backup, and we attempt a restore if the health check fails
- Weekly backups kept 30 days, free restores, and a download of the whole site
- Staging, malware scanning, a web application firewall and the status page
- Email support from the people who run the platform
Not part of managed
- Your theme, plugins and content, and their updates. They are yours, with per-item auto-update toggles to hand the routine to WordPress.
- Daily backups or a recovery-time promise. One backup runs weekly, you can take one yourself up to once an hour, and a core update started from the dashboard uses a new or recent backup. WordPress' own auto-updates run on its schedule.
- Cleaning an infected site. Scanning tells you what it found; the fix is yours or your developer's.
- A response-time or uptime guarantee. We publish neither. The status page shows an incident as it happens, and a person reads every support message.
- Email hosting, ever. Domains are sold, but as a separate purchase with the renewal price beside the first year's.
Moving an existing site?
Migration requests are paused while the queue is closed. You can ask whether your site fits, but we cannot accept or schedule a move yet, so please do not buy hosting for a move we cannot schedule. If you would rather do it yourself, every Pressy gives you FTPS and database access from the first minute, and you can make a staging copy to land the site on before it goes live.

What exactly is a Pressy?
One WordPress site in its own container, with its own memory, CPU, storage, database and bill. Run as many as you like. Change the size of the one that needs it, leave the rest alone.
Can I bring an existing WordPress site over?
Yes, and it's yours to drive. FTPS and database access from the first minute, and you can make a staging copy to land it on, so you check the whole thing working at its own address before it goes live.
What happens if I outgrow my plan?
Change memory, CPU or storage from the Plan screen. It applies in about a minute, and you're billed the difference for the rest of the period, shown before you confirm. Nothing else you host changes.
Do you take a backup before updates?
There are two kinds. WordPress' own minor and security releases are switched on when your Pressy is built and run on WordPress' schedule. A core update you start from the dashboard uses a new or recent backup, and if the health check fails we attempt a restore. Plus one automatic backup a week kept 30 days, manual backups up to one an hour, and free restores.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on every plan, with HTTPS included and renewed. Every Pressy also gets a free pressy.site address, so it's reachable before your domain is.
What if I want to leave?
Cancel in two clicks. Billing runs to the end of the period you've paid for, and there's a 30-day money-back guarantee if you'd rather get out sooner. Your files and database are yours: take them out over FTPS, or download the whole site as one archive.
What will my Pressy cost next month?
The same as this month, for as long as you keep the same size and billing term. Changing either changes the price, and you see the new figure before you confirm. A promotion code lasts as long as its own terms say. Every price includes VAT where it applies, and new catalogue prices apply to new purchases, not to a Pressy you already have.
