Let's Encrypt, issued as a verified step while your Pressy is built and renewed for you afterwards. Issuance is a step that either passed or didn't, not a hope that something ran overnight.

The specifics

- Every Pressy comes with its own pressy.site address, on HTTPS, so the site is live and secure before you have settled on what to call it.
- www and the bare domain, both
- Whichever one you give us, we plan the records for it and tell you what the other one will do. DNS is nobody's favourite part of the job and it should not also be a guessing game.
- As many domains as the site needs
- The old address you are moving from, the .com and the .co.uk, the one from the campaign. Each gets its own certificate, at no charge.
- We don't sell you the domain
- Deliberately. Buy it from a registrar who does that properly, for a fraction of what a host would charge, and keep your domain, your DNS and your hosting in different hands.

Do you charge per domain?
No. Connecting a domain is free, the certificate is free, and adding a second one is free as well.
Do I have to buy my domain from you?
You can't, and that is on purpose. We would only be reselling it to you at a markup, and keeping your domain, your DNS and your hosting under one roof turns one bad day into a much longer one.
How long until HTTPS works?
The certificate is issued once your records point at your Pressy. The waiting is DNS propagation, which runs on your registrar's clock rather than ours, and the dashboard shows you how far it has got.
