Managed WordPress Hosting built different 💪

Features

Everything included, on every Pressy

Every Pressy comes equipped with all the features every WordPress website (and you) deserves to have, and much more!

Our main features

Everything is included, not paywalled by addons or plan upgrades.

And everything else

Everything else, not because it's not important, but because we don't want to overwhelm you with how hard we've gone to up the standards for affordable WordPress hosting.

Domains and HTTPS

Bring the domain you already own. We show you the records, watch them land and issue the certificate, and we charge you for none of it.

Backups and restores

Taken for you, kept for 30 days, restored free as often as you need, and downloadable whenever you want your site in your own hands.

WordPress, managed

Core, plugins and themes kept current without you logging in to do it, and full control over which of them you let move on their own.

Staging

A full second copy of your site at its own address. Free, and it does not count against your plan.

Security

A firewall in front of WordPress, your site in a container of its own, and nothing claimed here we cannot point at.

Speed and resources

Unmetered where metering would only ever be a way to bill you, and a published number everywhere a number is the honest answer.

The developer things

PHP, cron, SSH, databases and Node.js, on the same dashboard as everything else instead of behind a support ticket.

  • Easy PHP managementThe version in one click, the four limits everyone gets told to raise in one more, and a raw php.ini when you need it.
  • Cron jobsA schedule builder that shows the next runs in your clock and the server's, and refuses the traps that fail silently.
  • Node.js appsA small API, a webhook receiver or a worker in the same container, on a path of your own domain.
  • SSH with your own keyAdd a public key and sign in without a password. Your private key stays yours and we never see it.
  • FTPS accountsExplicit TLS on port 21, with the exact client setting named, and an account can be locked to one folder.
  • phpMyAdmin, already signed inSingle sign-on minted at the moment you click, and never cached.

The panel, and the billing

The parts that aren't features so much as the reason the features are pleasant to own.

  • A control panel built for one thingNot cPanel with a WordPress icon on it. Two panels in your life: your Pressy and your WordPress admin.
  • Per-site plansEvery Pressy is its own subscription with its own memory, vCPU and storage. One site needing more means changing that one site.
  • Change size on any dayNot at renewal and not by contacting sales. Upgrades take effect immediately, pro-rated to the day.
  • Pay on StripeTheir hosted page, their 3-D Secure, and nothing changes on your Pressy until the payment succeeds.
  • Monthly or yearly, your callNo four-year commitment to reach the advertised price, and the renewal price is the price you signed up at.
  • A 30-day refund policyA button in your dashboard, not an argument with a retention agent. A person answers within 12 to 48 hours.
  • Everything in your timezoneBackups, cron runs, renewals and logs, converted from the UTC the machines actually run on.

What is a Pressy?

Meet the Pressy

All of it, on the smallest paid plan

There is no feature tier here. Paid plans differ by memory, CPU and storage and by nothing else. MiniPressy is the exception and it says so on the tin: free, and without backups, staging or SSH.
