How to create an FTP account

1. Open your Pressy and go to Access in the sidebar.
2. Under File transfer (FTP), press Set up FTP access.
3. Copy the password now. It is shown once and never again.
4. Copy the host and username from the same panel — the port is 21.

Next: connect with FileZilla.

If you lose the password

Press Reset password and copy the new one. The old password stops working immediately, so anything still connected with it needs updating.

Giving someone access to one folder only

Set Folder to a path inside your site, such as wp-content/uploads, and save. That account then sees only that folder.

Use a relative path with no leading slash and no ... Setting it back to Whole site restores full access.
