Both host WordPress in Europe and both publish a price. The difference is what happens to that price in month thirteen, and whether staging is on the plan you actually bought.
Short version
SiteGround is cheaper than us for twelve months and more expensive afterwards. Their StartUp renews at €15.99 excluding VAT — roughly €19.67 with it — against our €12 including VAT, on a plan whose staging is reserved for the tier above. If you will still be here in year two, the arithmetic is not close.
SiteGround figures are their own published list prices, read off their site on 1 September 2026. We have no affiliation with them, and product names belong to their owners.
