Comparison
PressyPress vs Bluehost
Both run WordPress and both include the things a site needs. The difference is the shape of the deal: a three-year commitment at an intro rate on shared hosting, against a monthly price in a container of your own.
Short version
Bluehost is genuinely cheaper than us, before and after the intro rate, and gives you ten sites where we give one. PressyPress is the better answer if you want a single site to have its own memory and CPU rather than a share of a machine, and a price that does not need a 36-month commitment to look good.
Bluehost figures are their own published list prices, read off their site on 1 September 2026. We have no affiliation with them, and product names belong to their owners.
Where Bluehost is the better answer
If one of these is your situation, we would rather you went there than churned out of here in month three.
Cheaper than us at renewal, not just at signup
$9.99 a month on renewal is below our €12, and $3.99 during the intro term is far below it. On price alone they win, and this page is not going to pretend they do not.
Ten sites for the price of one
The entry plan holds ten websites and 10 GB. Ours holds one site. If you have several small projects, that is a real difference in your favour.
Scale, and WordPress.org's recommendation
A very large support organisation and a long-standing place on WordPress.org's own hosting page. We have neither.

Which one fits you
Pick PressyPress if
- You have one site that matters and a budget that should not surprise you.
- You want every feature on the plan you can afford, not the plan above it.
- Your traffic moves, and you would rather size memory than buy the next bundle.
- You want the renewal price in writing before you sign up.
- You are in Europe and want VAT-inclusive prices and European data centres.
Pick Bluehost if
- You want several sites on one cheap plan.
- The lowest possible monthly price is the deciding factor.
- A 36-month commitment is not a problem for you.
- You want the reassurance of a very large, very well-known host.
Trying us without stranding yourself
Your site keeps serving visitors wherever it is now. Nothing happens to it until you point the domain, and that is your move to make.
- 30 days money-back
- If it is not right, ask within the window and we return what you paid.
- Staging on every plan
- Build the copy and click through it on a real URL before anything public changes.
- An export that takes one click
- Everything over SFTP, or as one archive. Your database and your media, whenever you want them.
- The transfer code, one click away
- If we registered your domain, the code to take it elsewhere is on the screen. We do not hold it.
